‘Piedfort’ is a double thickness coin. This coin is 5mm thick, exactly twice the weight as the standard issue with the same design. 

This coin series has been dedicated to four of Australia's native species struggling for survival. It is hoped that this will contribute to increased awareness of their plight and so help save them.
