Please email us at shieldsstamps@gmail.com with some photos and a brief description of the size of the collection eg 1 box, 10 albums, a car full and we will get back to you to organise an appointment if the items are of interest to us. Please be aware we get 100's of requests and may take some time to reply.

Do you do valuations?
We do written valuations for insurance and probate. There is a minimum charge of $250 per hour. If the collection is sold to us, the valuation fee is refunded.

Do you buy coins?
We buy Pre Decimal coins, world coins, Royal Australian Mint and Perth Mint.
We only buy Decimal coins in mint packaging, mint rolls or bags not lose out of change/circulation.
Should I clean the items first?
NO!! Never clean anything without an expert looking at it first. If for example you cleaned a coin you could instantly reduce its value. Likewise if you have old stamps on envelopes or postcards, DO NOT TEAR THEM OFF. Sometimes they are worth much more on envelopes, so let us check them first!
What do I need to provide to sell to you?
As a registered second hand dealer we are required to fill in our purchases book. In order to purchase something we require photo id from the seller including a street address.
